I remember the day he died. It was the same week Joystiq shut down, and I just really did not need that news. It was sad to see him go so young. Great picture!

I wasn't aware of his death on this decade until I read an RWBY article and Monty Oum on Wikipedia recently ago before I made this. May he rest in peace...
RIP Hiromi Tsuru
I love the subtle drop shadows! I didn't even notice the non-pixelated steam blasts at first, either. Gret work!
Looks great! Did you trace over the line animation with pixels to get the effect?
I tried that at first and it took forever. I actually figured out how to do it in Flash almost automatically, so it's become a real possibility as an alternate version

So the one on the left is jpg, correct? Using PNG was one of the first lessons I learned when I started making pixel art :)
The one on the left is PNG and the one on the right is jpeg. if you look closely after clicking on the image look on the right side of the image and you can spot those artifacts.
Is this a companion piece to this? http://www.newgrounds.com/art/view/carrion/unrest
Beautiful as always!
The face on the judge actually made me laugh out loud. Well done!
That's one bad horse!
I wish I could pixel art like this.
